Thunder Valley brings the warmth and ensemble comedy of a 1990s family sitcom into the colorful world of independent professional wrestling.
JR Thunder, known as "The King of Old School," is a wrestler, husband, and father fighting to succeed without losing sight of the people waiting for him at home. His family life is grounded by his wife, Faye, their children, JR Junior and Dee-Dee, and a neighborhood that operates by its own rules.
Inside the ring, JR’s pursuit of the UWA World Heavyweight Championship puts him on a collision course with champion Derrick Jordan and the unpredictable Paul "The Punisher" Sexton. Outside it, Cousin Sunshine makes sure even the simplest day can become a spectacle.
